MOPS

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of a preschooler to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus. Stapleton MOPS joins the mission with Stapleton Church to help mothers follow Jesus. MOPS is a non-denominational Christian organization for all mothers with at least one child who is 5 years old or younger. Our group consists of moms from the surrounding area who desire to build friendships, learn valuable parenting information and have fun!

This year's MOPS International theme is "Free Indeed."

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, he has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19

Choosing freedom is a deeply spiritual act, one that our souls long for. That is why this year, we choose wild, unexpected freedom; the kind that brings more laughter and less worry, more contentment and less hustle. Freedom that is so contagious, the people around us are compelled toward their own liberation.

MOPS Dates

Our kick-off meeting will be on September 15 from 9-11 a.m. All meetings are on the first and third Fridays of the month from 9-11 a.m., and we provide childcare as part of membership. MOPS meetings run from September 2017 through May 2018.

MOPS Meetings

A typical MOPS meeting includes brunch, a devotional, announcements, a speaker or an activity, and small-group discussion. We also work on service projects that our Community Outreach Team leads. While moms take time to be spiritually fed and supported by other moms sharing a similar journey, children have fun in a Christ-centered playgroup upstairs in MOPS Kids.

Membership Costs

Your first meeting is free. Please join us on September 15.

The total annual cost for MOPS is $231.95. Please note that scholarships and payment plans are available.

The MOPS International membership fee for one year is $31.95. To join our Stapleton MOPS group, register through MOPS International at https://www.mops.org/join/ and use group code 1RN0 (oneRNzero).

To run our fun-filled meetings and maximize our precious time together, we also collect semester dues to cover childcare costs, activity supplies and guest speakers. The semester dues for MOPS 2017-2018 are $200 for the year ( $100 per semester). We collect these dues outside of your MOPS membership fee.

We can prorate semester dues, so feel free to join us at any time throughout the year. We ask that you pay dues at the second meeting you attend. Make checks  payable to Stapleton Church. Please do NOT make checks payable to Stapleton MOPS. You may choose to make one or two payments.

  • Make one payment of $200 by October 6, 2017 to cover the MOPS year (September 2017-May 2018).

  • Make a first payment of $100 by October 6, 2017 to cover the first semester (September-December 2017).

  • Make a second payment of $100 by February 2, 2018 to cover the second semester (January-May 2018).
