MOPS

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of a preschooler to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus. Stapleton MOPS joins the mission with Stapleton Church to help mothers follow Jesus. MOPS is a non-denominational Christian organization for all mothers with at least one child who is 5 years old or younger. Our group consists of moms from the surrounding area who desire to build friendships, learn valuable parenting information and have fun!

This year's MOPS International theme is “To The Full.”

Jesus said: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

– John 10:10 (NIV)

Life is meant to be lived to the full. It is ok to let your hair down, worry a little less and really suck the marrow out of life! This is exactly how God intended us to live - fully and abundantly. It can be easy to forget what this feels like, especially when the routines and challenges of life cause us to lose our zest for life. However, this year is about the full life - living grateful, joyful, and hopeful while trusting that everything is working together for good. This year, we are saying farewell to autopilot in order to regain our vitality! Living life to the full is not about striving for more or doing more, it is about recognizing that life is not a bunch of goals to achieve or people to please - it is an invitation to savor the light and enjoy your life a little more. Join us this year for a fresh start as we learn to fear less, have more fun, find our people and live life to the full!

MOPS Dates

Our kick-off meeting will be on September 18th from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. All meetings are on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 9-11 a.m., and we provide childcare as part of membership. MOPS meetings run from September 2019 through May 2020.

MOPS Meetings

A typical MOPS meeting includes breakfast, a devotional, announcements, a speaker or an activity and small-group discussion. We also work on service projects that our Community Outreach Team leads throughout the year. While moms take time to be spiritually fed and supported by other moms sharing a similar journey, children have fun in a Christ-centered playgroup upstairs in MOPS Kids.

Membership Costs

Your first meeting is free. Please join us on September 18th.

The total annual cost for MOPS is $231.95. Please note that scholarships and payment plans are available.

The MOPS International membership fee for one year is $31.95. To join our Stapleton MOPS group, register through MOPS International at https://www.mops.org/join/ and use group code 1RN0 (oneRNzero).
