Lead Pastor - Matt Wolf
Matt started as our Lead Pastor on Easter Sunday 2017. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to lead Stapleton Church, preach God's Word and help people follow Jesus. He, his wife Melissa and daughter McKinley moved to Denver from Nebraska, where Matt served as a pastor. Matt grew up in Colorado Springs, and Melissa in Moab, Utah. They met at Colorado State University, where they both received their bachelor's degrees. Matt also holds a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry from Talbot School of Theology. He loves spending time with his wife and daughter on walks and hikes and simply enjoying life together. Matt also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and following the Broncos and the NBA.
Worship Director - Bobby Brunswick
Bobby came to Stapleton Church from Grand Junction, Colorado. Originally from Greeley, Bobby comes from a family of worshipers and is passionate about worship. His involvement in worship arts ministries stems from Sunday morning bands, youth group bands and 20 years of leading small group worship. Bobby, his wife Keila and their son Liam are excited to join the Stapleton Church family. He is thrilled to embark on this new position and watch as lives are changed and renewed through the power of praise and worship.
Assistant Worship Director - nikki capra-mccafferey
Nikki is passionate about worship and is excited to support Stapleton Church in this role. She believes that music should glorify God, proclaim the name of Jesus, and ultimately draw us closer to God. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is a composer and sound designer for media, chamber music and fixed media. She is also a songwriter. Nikki grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and met her husband in Chicago, Illinois after college. They have three exuberant children and have attended Stapleton Church since 2015. She enjoys baking and gardening with her children, road tripping and hanging out with friends.
facility manager - hunter mudd
Hunter Mudd began attending Stapleton Church in 2008 and a few years later began serving and getting his hands into various ministries—he has served in kid’s ministry, running the sound board, setting up for events and much more. Hunter was raised in a Christian household where he could grow in his spiritual journey and learn more about God and his Word. He plays varsity football and enjoys hiking and working with his hands.
Preschool director/business Manager - Jacque Mudd
Jacque began serving as Stapleton Church’s office manager in June 2016, and she and her son, Hunter, have been part of Stapleton Church since 2010. Jacque began as a volunteer with the Children's Ministry, and as a leader on the Women's Ministry team. Jacque brings years of administrative work experience and service dedication to her role. She enjoys going to Rockies and Avalanche games with her son.
KID's Ministry Director - Ariel Myers
Ariel joined Stapleton Church in the fall of 2013. From Pasadena, Texas, she has her degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University, and her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Seminary. Ariel has served on the children’s ministry staff of churches in Pasadena, Dallas and Pearland, Texas. She has served on mission teams in Texas and Louisiana, as well as England, Africa, Ukraine and Estonia. Ariel has two dogs, Dazzle and Maverick. She enjoys hiking, biking, Rockies games, and naps.
COMMUNITY Pastor - GRANT RYDER
Grant came to Stapleton Church in the summer of 2018 and is excited to help people follow Jesus. Originally from Papua New Guinea, Grant, his wife Leah and daughter Rae recently moved from Branson, Missouri. Grant worked for the College of the Ozarks as a Residence Director and Director of Campus Community Groups. Grant is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Denver Seminary. Grant is passionate about Christ-centered community. He and his family are excited to be part of Stapleton Church and to see God glorified through the relationships of His people. Grant loves spending time with his wife and daughter, staying active, enjoying the outdoors and following the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Student ministry Pastor/Communications - SAWYER TRAPP
Sawyer began leading our Student Ministry in August of 2018. Sawyer has a passion for youth and wants to lead the students of the Stapleton area into life-long relationships with God. He and his wife Sarah moved from Arizona to Denver in 2014 to both pursue Master's degrees at Denver Seminary. Sawyer has an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in History and Religious Studies and his Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, running with their dog Maxwell and sampling Denver’s great restaurant scene with Sarah.
