Elevate Children's Ministry

We love kids and their families, so at Stapleton Church, we prioritize children’s ministries. We help kids become lifelong followers of Jesus. We recognize the church’s responsibility to families and the role of children in the church’s future. Stapleton Church is an extended family that unconditionally loves children and integrates them into the active life of the church. God created each child uniquely, and Stapleton Church responds with programs and learning opportunities to meet individual needs. Enjoy the worship service while your child has fun and explores God’s world.

Nursery - age 2.5

Our Playgroup integrates the truths of God’s love with an environment of play. Attentive caregivers teach, entertain and nurture our youngest church members.

Elevate Jr.

Age 2.5 – Pre-Kindergarten

Small children are curious by nature. Stapleton Church wants to open up your preschooler’s mind to the wonder that God has created all around them. Our Elevate Jr. program cultivates a lifelong thirst for knowledge and a strong relationship with Jesus at an early age. We use the First Look curriculum, which allows children to learn by using all of their senses.

Kindergarten - Second Grade

Third - Fifth Grades

Elementary-age kids are in a constant state of discovery. Elevate uses the 252 Basics curriculum to tap into students’ natural desire to discover their own part - in God’s Big Story.

Co-pilot

The purpose of the Stapleton Church Co-Pilots Ministry is to facilitate inclusion within the Elevate Kids Ministry for the child with additional needs and for their family.

In support of the mission of Stapleton Church, the goal of the Co-Pilots Ministry is to help families affected by unique needs follow Jesus.

Elevate Kids partners with parents of special needs children to develop a specialized plan for the child with additional needs. Co-pilots are one-on-one volunteers who join a child in their classroom to help make their experience in Elevate Kids the best it can be. If you have a child who may benefit from a co-pilot, please contact our Children's Ministry Director, Ariel Myers.

This year, CAC will be focusing on giving back to our community, by creating multiple crafts that can be used to serve others in the NE Denver area and beyond.

When: Tuesday, June 12 through Thursday, June 14. 9 to 12 p.m.

Who: Children entering Kindergarten through finished 5th grade.

Cost: $45 per child.

Parents' Night Out

Stapleton Church’s Elevate Children's Ministry hosts Parents' Night Out (PNO) one Friday a month as a resource for families. We understand the stresses of parenting and feel PNOs are a valuable way to give back.

PNOs are open to infants through fifth-graders for all families in our community. The cost is only $9 per child, and the evening includes games, a movie and a snack. Beginning in January 2018, children will also be able to participate in creating blessing bags to take home after PNO. Families will be able to hand these bags out to those they see in need in the Denver area. Qualified caregivers (background checked and approved by Stapleton Church) lead the program.

PNOs are from 6 to 9 p.m.

Upcoming PNO date:
August 24

PNO fills up quickly! Unregistered families will not be able to join at the event.

If you have questions, please contact our Director of Children’s Ministries, Ariel Myers.

Baby/Child Dedication

Baby and Child Dedications are a simple ceremony designed to welcome a newborn (up to 18 months) or young child (up to 6 years) into the life of the church and to affirm a couple in their desire to raise the child under His nurture and admonition.  We do not believe that this ceremony plays any part directly in the child's salvation. During the ceremony we will pray for the child begin dedicated as well as the homes represented. We also present the family with a certificate of dedication, a small New Testament Bible, and an age appropriate Bible for the child.  The ceremony is generally held towards the beginning of the worship service and should last 5 -10 minutes. Please click the link below to register your family for the next dedication service.
