Barry Hughes - Interim Executive Pastor

Barry joins our pastoral staff team bringing 20 years of full-time ministry experience. Barry and his wife Stacey met as kids growing up in the same church. Both graduated from a Bible College in Missouri and have two teenage children.

Barry is currently serving Stapleton Fellowship Church by leading the staff team and doing behind the scenes administration. He is very involved in his community and is the Chaplain for the fire department. He enjoys traveling, reading and almost any activity outdoors.

 

Dale Flanders - Interim Preaching Pastor

Dale served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. During that time he held various roles including Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor, Church Planter and Senior Pastor. For the past 10 years he has worked in the broader community nonprofit sector. Currently he is the Executive Director of Broadway Assistance Center that serves low-income families in the south metro area. Prior to that he held leadership positions at Mile High United Way and Kaiser Permanente. He is an ordained minister with a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary and completed his undergraduate work in music at Seattle Pacific University.

Dale grew up in Littleton and currently lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Laura. They have been married for 33 years. Dale is always eager for a round of golf, loves fly fishing and enjoys cooking gourmet meals for anyone who comes through the door of their home. Laura serves on the faculty of Denver Seminary where she leads the Training and Mentoring department. She is an avid gardener and writer. They have two grown children, Ryan and Jenna who are both married. Dale loves teaching and is looking forward to this interim time at SFC.
