An incredible opportunity has emerged for Stapleton Fellowship Church to purchase the Hangar 61 building at Central Park Boulevard and 21st Avenue in Stapleton and establish it as a home for the ministry of our church. We are excited about this opportunity, and while we always want to remember that the church is a people, not a building, we do feel this building could serve as an awesome tool for fulfilling our mission in NE Denver for many years to come. The following is an outline of our congregation’s decision-making timeline concerning this facility. If you are a member or participant in the church, please plan to participate in each phase of this important process:
Hangar 61 Acquisition Schedule
Sunday January 24: Open House at H61
Join us after the morning worship service for a look inside the Hangar. Come see for yourself and take time to pray about this important decision.
Wednesday January 27 & Thursday January 28: Town Hall Meetings
6:30 pm at the church office (7706 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.)
We are encouraging everyone to attend one of the two Town Hall meetings we are hosting. The meetings will be identical, so pick the night that works best for you. This will be the time for questions, answers, and discussion about the purchase of the Hangar in preparation for the membership vote.
Sunday January 31: Membership Vote
Following the worship service there will be a brief meeting where the members of SFC will have the opportunity to vote on the purchase of Hangar 61. This will only be a vote, as the time for discussion will have taken place at the Town Hall meetings.
