Axis Youth

UPCOMING EVENTS: 

• Monday to Friday, July 20th to 24th - Summit Student Camp 2009
  • Students will need a Medical Release / Liability form on file in order to participate.  Download the form here and just turn it in to Eric.
  • Registration has closed but is available on a per-spot basis.  Talk to Eric if interested in attending and we may be able to get a spot.

 

• Broomball!  Friday, August 14th
  • Join us for dinner at Chipotle at 6 p.m. then an hour of intense Broomball fun at Big Bear Ice Arena in Lowry from 7 - 8 p.m.  Cost is $5 for broomball + cost of your dinner at Chipotle. 
  • Medical Release / Liability form must be on file in order to participate.
  • All new, upcoming 6th-graders are invited to join us as we welcome them to Axis Youth Ministries and kick-off the start of the new school-year.

   The vision of Axis Student Ministries is the same as SFC: to help people fully engage in their spiritual journey. Specifically, we are seeking to create an environment for students to connect with peers in fellowship, connect with God in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and be trained up to share their faith and life with others.  To this end, we are aiming to disciple the Christian students, as well as reach out to those in our surrounding communities who do not yet knew their Creator and Savior. 

   Our name, Axis Youth Ministries, specifically derives from our desire to revolve all we do in life around the Person and work of Jesus Christ. He is our axis. Hebrews 12:2a states, “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…”  Our strongest desire is to encourage, model, and train students toward becoming a more devoted follower of Jesus Christ.    

   Our goal is that Axis Youth Ministries be a place where your son or daughter has a blast each and every time they attend, builds strong and godly relationships with both peers and adults, and ultimately enters into a saving and growing discipleship relationship with Jesus Christ.
