Stapleton Fellowship Church is an authentic community of followers of Christ in which:

  • The broken can find wholeness, healing, and compassion
  • The searching can find truth, life, and purpose
  • The believing can find growth, encouragement, and fellowship
     
  • The mature can find clarity, expansion, and pursuit of their life mission

 
Our Mission –

“Stapleton Fellowship Church exists to reach the Stapleton Community and the surrounding communities and to provide an atmosphere in which they can become fully devoted followers of Christ.”


Our Purpose –

We exalt God by:

  • Seeking His face through celebrative and reflective worship, study, and prayer, both corporate and personal
  • Serving His purpose by obeying God in daily life, discovering our individual giftedness, and putting that giftedness to use in His service  
  • Sharing His Word through preaching and teaching that emphasizes the personal, practical, and positive solutions from the Bible for life’s common problems.  We also support other ministries and movements dedicated to this purpose throughout the world.


We encourage people by:

  • Investing and inviting - investing in the lives of friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family and inviting them to worship, to participate in church events, and to know the Lord Jesus personally.
  • Connecting in community - building a network of dynamic small groups and an overarching atmosphere of grace, friendliness, and unconditional love
     
  • Transforming with truth - faithfully applying biblical truth to our lives to accomplish the genuine life change we all need, equipping people for effective servant leadership and fostering personal and corporate evangelism efforts to spread this life-change to others.


 

Our Core Values –

We are a church of:

  • Celebration – We value worship, and we demonstrate this value by crafting corporate worship experiences that incorporate celebrative and reflective worship and by encouraging a celebrative lifestyle of joy among those who follow Christ.  We believe a heart of celebration brings glory to God. “Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4)
  • Connection – We value each individual’s connection with God, and seek to encourage this above all else in everything we do. We believe each of us was created to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  We also value each individual’s connectedness with other people and will seek to create Christ-honoring fellowship opportunities (small and larger group) for Christ-followers and those seeking Christ.
  • Creativity – We value innovation in the strategies we employ to communicate timeless truths in a relevant and contemporary fashion for maximum present-day impact.  Cultural relevance is a priority for us in the crafting of worship experiences, the execution of programming, and the production of outreach events and initiatives.  Creative liberty within the confines of obedience to Scripture is necessary for effectiveness in our ministry context.
  • Compassion – We value an atmosphere of grace, love, and forgiveness.  We believe that people respond positively when they are in such an atmosphere.  We also believe in being honest about the struggles and pain of life, and in pursuing God’s grace for life’s trials together as fellow sojourners.  We are dedicated to patience with all who are genuinely seeking to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are committed to simplicity in the area of ministry development: we want to choose those ministries that have the greatest impact on Kingdom expansion.  WE WILL TRY TO DO A FEW THINGS WITH EXCELLENCE AS OPPOSED TO DOING ALL THINGS!!!
