At SFC, we are so thankful for our missionaries who serve around the world.  It is our desire to have a genuine relationship with our missionaries.  Our Missions Partnership model focuses on 5 key areas:
1.  Intentional Prayer
2.  Financial Support
3.  Partner Care
4.  Periodic Short-Term Teams
5.  Effective Communication

Our Missions Team will lead the charge to ensure we develop and maintain a true partnership with each of our missionary families.

15 Ways to Pray for Your Missionaries
By far, the greatest way we can support our misionaries in true partnership is to regularly remember them in prayer.  Aside from specific prayer requests mentioned in their newletters and websites, here is a list of ways you can pray on behalf of your missionaries.

1. Love for God
Pray that your missionaries will love God so much that they will always want to serve Him.

2. Love for Others
Pray that God will help your missionaries love each other and everyone else. (1 Thessalonians 3:12).

3. A Deeper Relationship with God
Pray that your missionaries would follow Jesus’ example. It’s hard to imagine any missionary having a busier life that Jesus did; yet He always took time to pray to His Father.

4. Spirit-Controlled Lives
Pray that all of your missionaries will do what God wants them to do.

5. The Fruit of the Spirit
Pray that they will live so others can see them doing things that show they love God.

6. Wisdom and Knowledge
Pray that missionaries will know they have good thoughts, be honest, love peace, be kind to others and obey God as you can read in the Bible. (James 3:17).

7. Courage
Give them courage to pray as Paul did in Ephesians 6:19, that every time they will speak God’s word.

8. Receptive Hearts
Pray that God will help them find people who want to learn about Jesus.

9. Disciples
Pray that your missionaries will be very happy to teach people to obey everything Jesus commanded. (Matthew 28:20).

10. Strong Faith
The apostles once asked Jesus: “Increase our faith!” Pray that your missionaries will have great faith that will lead them to ask great things of our Lord.

11. Steadfastness
Pray that your missionaries will follow Paul’s advice to the Corinthians: “Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

12. Strong Family
Living in other countries can be hard for the missionaries. Pray that missionary families will be close to one another and have stronger families.

13. Protection
Sometimes missionaries are in danger. Join Jesus in praying to the Father: “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one” (John 17:15).

14. Material Needs
Missionaries often have to live in places that are not comfortable, no running water, hard beds and no stoves. They may not have very much money. Pray that God will give them the things they need so they can do their work “according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

15. Health and Strength

Some places in the world today are not safe. Missionaries may be sick, or someone might steal from them. Pray that God will make them healthy and strong so they can bring Him glory and have all the good things they need.
